Premier League Matchweek 7, 17–19 October 2026: Kickoff Times in Moscow

Saturday starts at 14:30 Moscow with Everton–Chelsea. Sunday at 16:00 is Leeds–United. Monday at 22:00 is Tottenham–Coventry.

Matchweek 7 of the Premier League is Saturday 17 October to Monday 19 October 2026. It is the week after the Champions League, not a replacement for it. City, Liverpool, United, Arsenal, Villa, Newcastle and Tottenham all have a European night before these league games. The kickoffs below already include the television picks the league published for October. Times are Moscow, UTC+3. Britain is still BST, so 15:00 in England is 17:00 MSK, and the Monday 20:00 BST slot is 22:00 MSK.

The weekend just finished is the context, not the fixture list. City won 3–0 at Anfield. Arsenal beat Leeds 2–1. United drew 1–1 with Tottenham. Chelsea won 5–1. Those scores are on Yesterday. They explain why the next set of games is sharper than a normal October weekend. They are not the games you need a kickoff for anymore.

Saturday 17 October

The early game is Everton vs Chelsea at 14:30 MSK, 12:30 BST, Hill Dickinson Stadium. That is the early television slot in the league’s October list. Chelsea arrive after scoring five at home to Bournemouth. Everton arrive after a 2–2 at Hull. A newly settled Everton home, on the dock, against a side that just won 5–1, is a different test from Stamford Bridge. Chelsea’s attackers will be the story in the previews. Everton’s crowd will be the story if the game is still level at half-time.

At 17:00 MSK, three games that were left at 15:00 BST: Brentford vs Liverpool at the Gtech, Fulham vs Hull City at Craven Cottage, and Manchester City vs Ipswich at the Etihad. Brentford–Liverpool is the awkward one. Liverpool lost 3–0 at home to City, had a man sent off, and then have LASK in Linz on Wednesday. By Saturday they are at Brentford, a ground that has annoyed bigger sides for several seasons by being compact, direct and unimpressed. A “reaction performance” is the phrase television will use. The useful fact is the kickoff: 17:00 MSK, not Saturday night.

City against Ipswich is the game that will be framed as a coronation lap after Anfield and, on Wednesday, after PSG. Ipswich beat Fulham 2–1 on Saturday. The 2–1 is the score we stored. We are not adding a minute for the winner that we did not see in a report we trust. They are not obliged to stand in a shape and admire Haaland. City’s league record after six games was perfect. A home game against a promoted side is where perfect records either look inevitable or look careless. The Etihad on a Saturday at 17:00 MSK will be on television in plenty of places and still easy to miss if you are watching Brentford.

Fulham–Hull is the third 17:00 game and the one that will be dropped from round-ups if the other two produce goals. Hull drew at home with Everton. Fulham lost at Ipswich. Both are in the part of the table where October points decide whether Christmas is comfortable. It is on the board. It does not need a fake rivalry to justify the row.

Saturday night, 19:30 MSK, is Newcastle vs Aston Villa at St James’ Park, the 17:30 BST slot in the same list. Newcastle’s Monday night is Coventry, on 12 October, so by the time this article is the “next game” they will have played that and, if the European list holds, a midweek that is not this league. Villa drew with Brentford and then host Fenerbahçe on Wednesday. St James’ on a Saturday night is a worse place to be tired than most graphics admit. The kickoff is 19:30 MSK. Write that down. “Saturday evening” is how people miss the first twenty minutes.

Sunday 18 October

Three games at 16:00 MSK, which is 14:00 BST. Bournemouth vs Sunderland at the Vitality, Brighton vs Crystal Palace at the Amex, and Leeds vs Manchester United at Elland Road. The league’s note on the Sunday 14:00 slots, picked up in Sky’s fixture note, said Bournemouth, Sunderland and Palace had Europa League matches the Thursday before, which is why those kickoffs were pinned rather than left floating. The asterisk was about television and Europe, not about the match being in doubt.

Leeds–United is the derby that does not need selling and does need a time. Elland Road, 16:00 MSK. United’s week runs through Tottenham on Saturday, Atlético on Tuesday, and this. Leeds lost 2–1 at the Emirates and will not host United as a farewell. Derbies after European nights are often decided by who has more players able to sprint in the 70th minute, not by the preview’s remembered grudge. The grudge is real. The legs are the variable.

Brighton–Palace is a local game along the south coast, 16:00 MSK. Brighton’s 2–0 at Sunderland is the score we stored. We are not freezing a Saturday-night table place on top of it. Palace’s 3–1 against Forest is the other form line; the Amex is the place. Bournemouth–Sunderland is the other 16:00 game, a side that just lost 5–1 at Chelsea against a side that just won 2–0 away. Sunderland are not the same team that left Stamford Bridge in pieces. They were not at Stamford Bridge.

The late Sunday game is Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal at the City Ground, 18:30 MSK, 16:30 BST, the late slot in that list. Forest lost 3–1 at Palace. Arsenal beat Leeds and then have Lille at home on Tuesday. By Sunday they are in Nottingham, which is a ground that has taken points off title sides often enough that “Arsenal are second” is not a preview. 18:30 MSK is early evening in Moscow and late afternoon in England. It is not the Liverpool–City slot from the week before. That was also 18:30 MSK, which is a coincidence of the clock, not a sequel.

Monday is Tottenham and Coventry again

Tottenham vs Coventry is Monday 19 October, 22:00 MSK, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Coventry’s previous Monday is the home game against Newcastle on 12 October. Tottenham’s previous Saturday is the 1–1 at Old Trafford, with Bentancur sent off and Solanke scoring in stoppage time. A home Monday against a side fighting at the bottom is the game Spurs are expected to win and the game they have made a habit of complicating. The kickoff is the same Moscow hour as Coventry–Newcastle the week before. The ground is not.

What this week is not

It is not matchday 3 of the Champions League. That is 20 and 21 October: Bayern–Arsenal, PSG–Barcelona, Madrid–Leipzig, and the rest. Those fixtures are outside this weekend. Putting them on the Saturday board early is how a kickoff page lies. Matchday 2, on 13 and 14 October, comes first. City–PSG is Wednesday. Forest–Arsenal is the Sunday after that.

It is also not a full European fixture dump. La Liga’s next matchday and the Bundesliga’s next matchday were not added as a block, because the television slots for those rounds were less stable in the lists we checked than the Premier League’s published October picks. The board would rather have ten English kickoffs that match the league release than thirty European rows with a rounded “evening” time. When those slots are confirmed the same way, they go on. Until then, guessing a 21:00 CET for a game that might be 16:15 is the mistake we spent August undoing.

Flags stay as they were fixed on 5 October. English clubs use the St George’s Cross. A Union Jack on Everton or Chelsea means a stale page. Scottish clubs, when they appear, use the saltire. This matchweek does not need a Scotland row. The national-team week is over.

Open Today on the morning of the 17th. Until then the live dates are Coventry–Newcastle, then the Champions League, then this list moving up the week view day by day. The Premier League hub holds the ten fixtures without the European cards mixed in.

Sources checked 12 October 2026: the Premier League’s fixture release and the October broadcast amendment that pins Everton–Chelsea at 12:30, Newcastle–Villa at 17:30, the Sunday 14:00 trio, Forest–Arsenal at 16:30 and Spurs–Coventry at 20:00, all BST. Weekend scores cited in the setup are the ones already stored from Sky, BBC and AFP. Grounds are the clubs’ own: Hill Dickinson, Gtech, Craven Cottage, Etihad, St James’ Park, Vitality, the Amex, Elland Road, the City Ground, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
