Wednesday 4 November is the second half of Champions League matchday 4. Britain is on GMT again, so the early kickoffs at 18:45 CET are 20:45 Moscow and the main card at 21:00 CET is 23:00 Moscow. Two English clubs are in Turkey and Germany. One is in Prague. The Tuesday results are already on the board. Do not treat them as tonight’s scores.
The early pair is AEK Athens vs Real Madrid and Fenerbahçe vs Liverpool, both 20:45 MSK. The 23:00 MSK list includes RB Leipzig vs Manchester City, Slavia Prague vs Arsenal, Dortmund–Betis, Porto–Napoli, PSV–Club Brugge, Lens–Como and Viking–Sabah. If a preview collapses those hours into “Wednesday night”, it is not a preview.
What Tuesday actually did
UEFA’s own round-up has the nine Tuesday finals. The one people will keep quoting is Manchester United 3–2 Roma. United were two down inside eighteen minutes, Matías Soulé and a Donyell Malen penalty on the AFP and UEFA accounts. Bruno Fernandes scored from a retaken penalty. Matheus Cunha then scored twice late, and was sent off in stoppage time for a second yellow. That is UEFA’s version. It ended a nine-match run without a win, on those same reports. It is not a clean sheet and it is not a quiet night.
Paris Saint-Germain stayed perfect with Villarreal 0–6 PSG. UEFA says the French side scored four times in the first seventeen minutes — João Neves, Désiré Doué, Senny Mayulu and Fabián Ruiz — a competition record for the fastest four goals in a match. Ruiz and teenager David Boly added the rest. PSG were without several regulars, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on the AFP account. The score is still 6–0.
Barcelona beat Aston Villa 3–0 at the Camp Nou. Bayern won 2–0 at Atlético. Inter won 3–0 at Feyenoord. Galatasaray beat Stuttgart 2–0. LASK beat Slovan 4–0. Sporting won 1–0 at Shakhtar. Bodø/Glimt and Lille drew 0–0. Those are the UEFA lines. We are not inventing scorers for the quieter games.
Liverpool in Istanbul, City in Leipzig
Liverpool arrive in Istanbul after a Premier League weekend that ended 0–1 at home to Arsenal. Kai Havertz scored in the 16th minute, on the Football Web Pages line, and Arsenal’s first league win at Anfield since 2012 is the fact every round-up used. That is Sunday’s score. Tonight is Fenerbahçe. Different competition, same tired legs if the squad is not rotated, and we are not publishing a team sheet.
City’s league weekend was worse on the table. Brighton won 1–0 at the Etihad on Saturday, Yasin Ayari’s goal on the Racing Post match note. City’s perfect league start had already gone earlier in the autumn; this was the home defeat that put Arsenal three clear after Anfield, according to the same weekend round-ups. Leipzig at 23:00 MSK is not a soft landing. The Red Bull Arena row will sit under Now for two hours after kickoff.
Arsenal’s trip to Slavia is the third English story of the night. They lead the Premier League after Anfield. A league-phase away game in Prague is where that mood either settles or gets punctured. Again: no invented lineup. The board says 23:00.
Madrid’s early kickoff in Athens is the romantic pick if you refuse the later English games. AEK at home in this competition is not a friendly. Real Madrid’s midweek after a league weekend still depends on who travelled. The hour is 20:45 MSK. Be there at kickoff if that is your stream.
How to use the board tonight
Open Today for the nine Wednesday rows. Yesterday holds United–Roma, Barça–Villa and the rest of Tuesday. The Champions League hub strips out the Premier League noise. Flags on English clubs are the St George’s Cross. A Union Jack on Liverpool or City means a stale page.
Friday starts Premier League matchweek 10: Everton–Coventry at 23:00 MSK. That is a different article. Tonight is Europe. Sources checked 4 November 2026: UEFA’s matchday 4 list and Tuesday round-up, AFP and AP on United and PSG, Premier League broadcast times for the weekend just finished, Football Web Pages for Havertz’s Anfield goal.
If you only keep four fixtures: Fenerbahçe–Liverpool and AEK–Madrid at 20:45 MSK, then Leipzig–City and Slavia–Arsenal at 23:00. Dortmund–Betis is the German alternative if the English games are cautious. Scores land when the matches are finished and a report exists. Half-time tweets do not update the board.
One more clock note, because November confuses people who still think in BST. London is now GMT. A 20:00 kickoff in England is 23:00 in Moscow, not 22:00. The Champions League slots above are CET converted correctly. If an old bookmark still shows October times for these ties, reload the match page.
Porto against Napoli at 23:00 MSK is the Iberian–Italian row that will be ignored if Leipzig and Prague produce goals, and watched if they do not. PSV against Club Brugge is the Dutch–Belgian rematch of a matchday that already swung once this autumn. Lens against Como is the French home night against the Italian side that beat United 4–1 in October. Viking against Sabah closes the list in Stavanger. None of those need a fake rivalry paragraph. They need the correct hour.
United’s Tuesday win does not rewrite their league week. They still lost 2–0 at Chelsea on Saturday and still sit in the bottom half of the weekend table cut we used. A European comeback can change a manager’s Tuesday. It does not automatically change Sunday at Old Trafford against Villa. Keep the competitions separate on the board. That is the whole point of separate hubs.
Villa’s 3–0 loss at Barcelona ends a club-record run of four straight Champions League wins, on UEFA’s own note. They still have a league point from the late draw with Fulham. The turnaround into Sunday’s trip to United is short if they start many of the same players. We will not invent the rotation. We will keep the kickoff.
If you are reading this after the early games have finished, check the match pages before you quote a score in a chat. The board updates when we have a final to cite. A 1–0 at half-time in Athens is not a final. A 0–0 in Leipzig at the hour mark is not a final either. Reload Now if you want the live state, not a screenshot from twenty minutes ago.
The international break is not this week. Club football continues through the weekend. Matchday 5 of the Champions League is still three weeks away. Anyone pasting Arsenal–Dortmund into tonight’s list has jumped a matchday. The correct midweek after this one, for league purposes, is empty of Premier League games until Friday. Use that gap to sleep, or to re-read the Anfield report, not to invent Thursday kickoffs.
Final practical list for Moscow clocks: 20:45 AEK–Madrid and Fenerbahçe–Liverpool; 23:00 Leipzig–City, Slavia–Arsenal, Dortmund–Betis, Porto–Napoli, PSV–Brugge, Lens–Como, Viking–Sabah. Tuesday’s United 3–2 and PSG 6–0 stay on Yesterday. Friday’s Everton–Coventry is the next domestic row. That is the week. Everything else is noise.
One last reminder before kickoff: do not paste matchday 3 scores into tonight’s rows. City 5–1 AEK and Liverpool 4–3 Villarreal were October. Tonight’s City game is Leipzig. Tonight’s Liverpool game is Fenerbahçe. Same clubs, new dates, new kickoffs.
