Monday 12 October is not a quiet board. The weekend is already in the scores, and two matches are still live business at 22:00 Moscow: Coventry City vs Newcastle and Levante vs Sevilla. Tomorrow the Champions League starts. If you only open the site for “what is on tonight”, those two rows are the answer. If you open it to catch up, Yesterday is finally a results page rather than a list of blank fixtures.
Kickoffs below are Moscow time, UTC+3. Britain is still on BST, an hour behind UTC, until the clocks change on 25 October. Spain is still on CEST, two hours ahead of UTC. Coventry–Newcastle at 20:00 BST is 19:00 UTC and 22:00 MSK. Levante–Sevilla at 21:00 in Valencia is the same Moscow hour. Same clock, two countries, two competitions.
What the weekend actually did
Nine Premier League scores are stored. The one people will quote is Liverpool 0–3 Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday. Sky’s report had Ryan Gravenberch sent off on 62 minutes and City scoring three times after that: Erling Haaland, Jérémy Doku and Rayan Cherki. The same report said the trip was City’s first league game since an independent commission found the club guilty on charges related to financial rules, and that City have appealed and deny wrongdoing. That is Sky’s account of the week, not a verdict this site is handing down. On the pitch the score is simpler. A table checked after Sunday had City on 18 points from six wins. Liverpool’s 0–3 is the number on the row. We are not stretching that into a points gap we did not re-add ourselves.
Saturday’s early game was Arsenal 2–1 Leeds. That is the score on the board. We are not copying a scorer line from a snippet that put Bruno Guimarães in an Arsenal shirt. A table checked after Sunday had City on 18 points from six wins and Arsenal on 15. A table frozen on Saturday night is a different document. Do not mix the two.
Chelsea 5–1 Bournemouth is the outlier score. BBC’s Saturday live page said Dean Henderson scored twice in that win. A 5–1 at Stamford Bridge is not a form line you smooth into “Chelsea were fine”. It is a result that changes how you read their next fixture, which is not until next Saturday, away at Everton.
The rest of Saturday, all full time and on the board: Aston Villa 2–2 Brentford, Ipswich 2–1 Fulham, Sunderland 0–2 Brighton, Manchester United 1–1 Tottenham. BBC’s account of Old Trafford is the one worth keeping. Bryan Mbeumo put United in front. Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off for a headbutt on Luke Shaw. Dominic Solanke equalised in stoppage time. Tottenham remain a side that can leave with a point while playing a man down, which is a more useful sentence than another paragraph about “Spurs’ inconsistency”. United now have Atlético in Madrid on Tuesday. They did not get the Saturday night they would have chosen as preparation.
Sunday besides Anfield: Hull City 2–2 Everton at the MKM Stadium, Crystal Palace 3–1 Nottingham Forest at Selhurst. Palace’s win is the one that matters for next Sunday, because Forest host Arsenal and Palace go to Brighton. Hull’s draw keeps a newly promoted side in the conversation without pretending a 2–2 at home is a title race.
Tonight at Coventry
Coventry against Newcastle is the Monday night in the Premier League’s own October list, 22:00 MSK, Coventry Building Society Arena. We are not inventing a league position for either club from memory. The useful difference is the fixture itself: a home Monday in the Premier League, against an away side that has spent recent seasons in Europe, at a ground that is still new to this kickoff slot. Status gaps are exactly why these games get messy. The crowd wants the night to feel bigger than the table. The away side would like three points and a short night.
There is no secret tactical preview here, because we do not have a team sheet and we are not going to invent one. What the board can tell you is the kickoff, the ground, and that the row is still upcoming until 22:00. After kickoff it sits under Now for two hours. A score goes on the row when we have a final one to cite, not when a social-media account posts 1–0 at half-time.
Newcastle’s next league game after this is Saturday at home to Aston Villa, 19:30 MSK. Coventry’s next one is Monday 19 October at Tottenham, again 22:00 MSK. Tonight is not a dead rubber between those two. It is the match that decides whether Coventry’s week is a home point or another away trip taken in a bad mood.
The same hour in Valencia
Levante against Sevilla is La Liga, also 22:00 MSK, Estadi Ciutat de València. We are not pinning either club to a table place we have not rechecked this morning. A Monday night in Valencia, the same Moscow hour as Coventry, is the Spanish row. The rest of the matchday is already a results list, apart from one game that must not be “corrected” into a 0–0.
The rest of La Liga’s matchday 8 is already scored, with one exception. Málaga 1–1 Espanyol on Friday. Alavés 1–2 Atlético, the winner a Cristian Romero header in the 87th minute after Alavés had equalised from the spot and then gone down to ten men, in AFP’s account. Barcelona 3–0 Getafe: Anthony Gordon’s first goal for the club, then Gabriel Jesus, then Jules Koundé. BBC and AFP agree on 3–0 and on Gordon. Real Madrid 1–0 Villarreal, Yan Diomande’s goal, Vinícius Júnior sent off after a VAR review for pulling an opponent’s hair. That is the AFP version. AFP also had José Mourinho in the Madrid dugout for that win. Madrid finished with ten and held the lead. Elche 0–0 Celta, Real Sociedad 3–2 Deportivo, Betis 5–2 Osasuna and Racing Santander 2–2 Valencia are on the board from the results list we checked. The three scores above them — Atlético, Barcelona, Madrid — are the ones with AFP or BBC behind the detail.
Rayo Vallecano against Athletic is not given a score on the board. The Guardian reported that the match was abandoned during a protest by fans. A 0–0 from a results scraper is not the same thing as a match that was played. Until a league record says otherwise, the row stays without a score.
One Bundesliga score we were willing to store: Augsburg 2–2 Bayern. The Guardian and a Saturday round-up both had Robin Fellhauer scoring inside the first ten seconds after a Manuel Neuer error, described as the fastest goal in Bundesliga history, and Bayern coming back twice to draw. Harry Kane was involved in the rescue, on those accounts. Bayern did not go top. Dortmund’s Friday game is not scored here, because we did not have a citeable full-time line for it. An empty score is better than a guessed one.
What tomorrow is, so you do not mix the days
Tuesday 13 October is matchday 2 of the Champions League league phase, not another Premier League night. The early kickoffs are 19:45 MSK. The main card is 22:00 MSK: Arsenal–Lille, Atlético–United, Inter–Club Brugge, Galatasaray–Barcelona, and Viking–Bayern among others. Wednesday is City–PSG at 22:00 MSK, the day after City won 3–0 at Anfield. That midweek is a separate article, because folding it into Monday’s piece is how kickoff pages go stale by Tuesday lunchtime.
Use Today for Coventry and Levante. Use Yesterday for Anfield, Old Trafford, the Emirates and the Spanish Saturday. Flags on the English rows are the St George’s Cross, not the Union Jack. If a row still shows the British flag, the page is cached. Reload it.
Sources checked 12 October 2026: Sky match reports for Arsenal–Leeds and Liverpool–City, BBC’s Saturday Premier League live page for Chelsea, United–Tottenham and the other Saturday finals, AFP and BBC on Barcelona, Madrid and Atlético, the Guardian on Augsburg–Bayern and on the Rayo abandonment, and the Premier League’s published Monday-night slot for Coventry–Newcastle. The next league weekend, 17–19 October, is already on the hubs: Premier League and La Liga.
